How can I reinstall a deleted eSIM or reinstall an existing eSIM in my new phone?

If you delete your eSIM from Global Yo or lose your device, you cannot reinstall it, so if you plan to buy another plan at a later date, you will need to pay the activation fee of $0.70 Euro (which covers your eSIM for 1 year) again and reinstall a new eSIM.

How can I delete an eSIM from my phone?

If you wish, you can manually remove your eSIM. To remove your eSIM follow these steps:

Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile data or Mobile data

    • Tap your mobile plan

    • Tap “Remove mobile plan”

If you remove your eSIM you will no longer be able to connect through this line. Any contacts you have associated with this line will default to your preferred line.

How can I allow data switching between my plans? [Advanced users]

To allow your phone to automatically select which SIM to use data from based on coverage and availability, turn on “Allow mobile data switching” in your settings. Note that if you are roaming and only want to use your Global YO eSIM or data, you should then make sure that “Allow mobile data switching” is turned off. If “Allow mobile data switching” is turned on, your phone will automatically use data from both phone plans, depending on which network is strongest at any given moment. This option is best for people who want to stay connected no matter what. There is no way to know which plan is being used at any given time, however, so this option can consume data quickly if you are not aware of it. To turn on Allow mobile data switching, follow these steps (steps may vary depending on phone model):

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.

  • Tap Mobile Data.

    • Turn on Allow Mobile Data Switching

Your data line automatically switches for the duration of your call. Mobile data switching will not work if you are currently roaming and both eSIMs are not set to allow data roaming. Check with your provider for availability and to find out if additional charges apply.

How do I see how much data is left on my plan?

You are able to see it in the application in the “My eSIM” bubble; click on the data plan under “Active Data Plans” to view its remaining data. Once your data runs out, you will no longer have an internet connection without Wi-Fi.

Delayed activation function

When you buy a plan, there’s an option at the bottom of the screen that says “Activate eSIM instantly after purchase”. Let’s say you don’t want your eSIM to activate immediately; you should then toggle this option OFF.

Note that if you buy an eSIM for a country you are not yet in, the eSIM will not activate until you actually reach that country, as the eSIM is programmed to activate your plan once it connects with a local network.

When would you use the “Delayed Activation” function?

  • For example, if you have data active from another provider and don’t want to use your new eSIM data package until you finish the other, this may be a good option for you.

  • Or, if you want to install the eSIM on another device than the one you’re purchasing it on (for example you want to activate it once installed on the other device).

What are the benefits of using an eSIM, as compared to a physical eSIM?

By using eSIM via Global YO, you will be able to purchase data instantly from wherever in the world you are, with no long-term commitments and no strings attached.

What is an eSIM?

The eSIM card is an electronic SIM card with which you can activate the cellular data plan provided by your operator without the need to use a physical nano-SIM card.

Will my physical SIM card still work?

Yes! The Dual SIM technology in compatible iPhone or Android models lets you remain connected with your physical SIM and your Truphone eSIM simultaneously. You can select which of the two SIMs to use for data connectivity and switch back at any time.

What are YOYO$?

Where is there 4G coverage?

How to enable data roaming?

If you do not have Data Roaming enabled on your eSIM, in most cases you won’t be able to get online. To enable Data Roaming, follow these steps:

  1.  Go to phone Settings
  2. Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data
  3. Tap your Global YO plan
  4. Scroll down to Data Roaming
  5. Tap the switch on

In addition, your device must be unlocked; to use eSIM it cannot be locked to any specific company by your current or principal provider.

Can I use data without an eSIM?

All Global YO data plans need to be linked to an eSIM, so you’ll have to install an eSIM before acquiring a plan. However, the good news is that our eSIMs are free!

You’ll only have to pay a $0.70 cent activation fee (Euros) which maintains your eSIM valid for one year; after that you’ll have to get a new eSIM and pay the activation fee again.

Do I have a local phone number with eSIM?

No, since your eSIM is only for data, you don’t have a phone number, which means that you can use one eSIM as the basis to buy data for anywhere in the world you need data! And soon we’ll introduce low-bandwidth data calling from the Global YO app to any number in the world: landline or cell phone!

If I use an eSIM, will my physical SIM keep working?

Yes! If your device is equipped with Dual SIM capability, you can maintain both lines simultaneously, and toggle them on and off from your settings as you wish. This means you can keep your physical SIM in your phone and run your eSIM data plan simultaneously or in parallel with the plan you with your current provider or any other SIM (physical or digital) that you are using in your phone.

How to export my NFT?

Exporting NFT to mainnet will mint a version of your NFT on Ethereum blockchain.

You will need third party software to complete this operation.

Stage 1

  1. Download Download Trust Wallet | Trust Wallet and Complete registration.

  2. Go to Trust wallet, click on Settings and Tap Wallets.

  3. Tap “+” in the top right corner.

  4. 4. Click on “I Already have a wallet”

  5. On the selection screen click Ethereum.

  6. Pick Keystore and you will see the following screen.

  7. Name your wallet YOmobile Wallet or call it so you can recognize this is your YO wallet. (You will need to be able to identify YOmobile Wallet later)

  8. Open your YOmobile App->Wallet and click on Download wallet .json. You will need to save it into your device or secure cloud storage.

  9. Open the JSON file that you have saved. It should open up the text of the file. Copy that text.

  10. Go back to TrustWallet and paste the text in the JSON tab. (STEP 7)

  11. Enter password for your YOmobile wallet. (It is the password you used while creating a wallet in YO)

  12. At this point you should have successfully imported your wallet. You should see the following screen.

  13. Now your YOmobile Wallet should be visible in TrustWallet app

 

Stage 2

  1. Click on NFT export in YO App.

  2. Follow the instructions and in-app tutorial to proceed.

  3. You will see the address of the wallet to send the gas fees to, and the amount of ETH that you would need to send to cover the gas fees.

  4. Open Trust wallet App send the necessary amount of ETH to your YO Wallet (Wallet that you have exported from YO to Trust wallet) Depending on your location you might be able to buy ETH inside Trust wallet app. Otherwise go to a preferred crypto exchange that works in your area. You can find your wallet public key that is necessary to receive payments by clicking Receive, and copying the public key under the QR code.

  5. Once you have your wallet loaded with ETH. Click on Send ->Ethereum enter the address (public key) that you can find in YO app, enter the amount that is displayed in YO App and click send.

  6. Once your payment has been completed and NFT has been exported you will get a push from YO app. NFT has been exported.

  7. Go to Trust wallet, check your NFT tab and your NFT should appear there. Note: Sometimes is might appear that your NFT image is black. Try again in a minute or relaunch your Trust wallet app.

  8. Congratulations! You can now start selling your NFT on OpenSea or any other ERC-721 marketplace. You can login into OpenSea using your Trust wallet app.

How to get notifications for live shows?

1. Go to YOLANDA located at the bottom right of the app 

2. Tap on SCHEDULE 

3. Tap the “Notification” icon

4. That’s it! You will be notified when the show starts
